Assessment & Reporting

The context:

Assessment is seen as the ongoing process of gathering, analysing and interpreting evidence; reflecting on findings; making informed and consistent judgements about students’ achievements and progress. Reporting is the process of communicating the knowledge and understanding gained from assessing a student’s learning.  Assessment & Reporting combine to support students to achieve high standards and to provide the basis for guiding further learning.  No one assessment or reporting method gathers or describes the full range and depth of what a child knows, understands and can do.
